Windows 10: Installing free upgrade

Just curious, but I have 6 pc's slated for the free upgrade. How will you know which download is intended for each machine?

1) What is the exact error that you receive when you try to upgrade to Windows 10?

I recommend you to refer to the Microsoft Help articles and check if it helps.

If you used the Get Windows 10 app to reserve your free upgrade, then each PC will get it's own notification to be upgraded.
