Windows 10: Installing games on Mac with Bootcamp. Error 0x8007001f

I have a Windows 10 Pro v2004 installed on separate hard drive on my iMac 27-inch 2019 and I have active Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription. There is a persistent problem with Xbox app / Windows Store - whenever I try to install a game with "Administrator approval required for installation" there is an error 0x8007001f


I have tried updating, reinstalling, repartitioning, resetting etc. but nothing helps so far. Judging from other comments here I suspect that Windows Store and/or Game Pass is problematic on any Apple computer.


Please comment if any of you have correctly working Xbox Game Pass setup + Windows 10 + Bootcamp partition or external disk on any Apple Mac computer at all! What is your hardware and system configuration?

Error code 0X8007001f

I followed the steps but I got the same error message as I got when I tried the suggestion of DaveM121 -- 0x8007001F-0x20006

The installation failed in the SAFE_OS phase with an error during the REPLICATE_OC operation.

 

Bootcamp Windows (to go) Microsoft Store error code: 0x8007001f

I have a 2019 Imac 27inch which I bootcamped onto a extnal SSD because the HDD is so slow. The only issue is I can’t seem to download any game that requires admin approval (Yes, my perms are all fine and that isn’t the issue.) Games like MFS2020, Train Sim
World, F1 2018 don’t work. Once it is downloaded it says it is installing but then spits that error code out. I have tried everything every tip and trick and every form of troubleshooting..... nothing is fixing this.

Based on the logs you've provided, it seems that one of the possible cause why you cannot install Windows 10 Creators Update is your antivirus. In the meantime, we suggest disabling your antivirus, then try to install the update again.
