Windows 10: Installing Icloud on my PC

Hi,

I tried installing iCloud on my PC, After iCloud was installed and I logged into iCloud an error comes up that says

"Repair iCloud for Windows to use iCloud with Outlook.

Open Programs and Features, select iCloud, Click Change, and then choose Repair to use iCloud in Outlook"

So I followed the steps as shown and the same error came up again, I even tried uninstalling iCloud entirely and reinstalling it..... and the same error.

When iCloud opens it will not let me select the check box for "Mail, Contacts, Calendars and tasks with Outlook"

What I am trying to accomplish is to sync my calendar, contacts with my iPhone and outlook on my PC.

I tried using the Outlook App on my phone but gave me nothing but problems.

I contacted Apple support and after a tiring long telephone conversation they could not seam to be able to solve this.

Could anyone help me?

No error messages on download but the below when trying to install





The is a problem with the Windows Installer package.

A program run as part of the setup did not finish as expected.

Contact your support personnel or package vendor.

What troubleshooting steps have you done so far?

• 
  followed the trouble shooting steps via the 'properties' section of the programme application

I can't open iTunes or iCloud in Windows 10

I suggest you to uninstall and reinstall iTunes and iCloud and check if it fixes the issue. Follow the steps below to uninstall iTunes and iCloud:

• 
  Press Windows key + X.
  
• 
  Click on Programs and Features.
  
• 
  Look for iTunes and right click on it and click on
  uninstall.
  
• 
  Follow the same steps to uninstall iCloud.
  
• 
  Reboot the computer after uninstall is complete and try to reinstall them.
