Windows 10: Installing microsft security essentials error 0x80070643 windows 7 pro 64bit

Please be kind enough to help I'm trying to install Microsoft security essentials 64 bit on windows 7 pro.


Ive tried everything, scanned for viruses - sfc / scannow, and repairing my framework.


I disabled number of things in cmd and reset old folders which I read in articles but I restarted my desktop and my start menu stopped working so I had to restore to an earlier date. My windows update is fine. I think it might be something wrong with my registry but I'm not sure.

Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit crashing on installation

So i have Windows 7 Professional 32bit installed and I wanted windows 7 Ultimate 64bit. It boots from the disk just fine, its just after you press the first button (i thing its callled install now or something) after a few seconds, it bluescreens and i have to restart. System specs are listed and i know my processoror is 64bit, any ideas?
