Windows 10: Installing Visual Studio Code in S Mode

Discus and support Installing Visual Studio Code in S Mode in Windows 10 Installation and Upgrade to solve the problem; Hi, I want to install VS Code on my laptop.     Installing Visual Studio Code in S Mode


    Hi,


    I want to install VS Code on my laptop. But the problem is, I am in S mode and it will not allow me to run it. I don't want to get out of S Mode but really need VS Code. If you download Microsoft Teams in S Mode from the internet, it works but if you download another verified app by Microsoft like Visual Studio Code, it won't work. Microsoft should really create an app for the Microsoft Store.

    Follow the steps on this line to prepare your system and for installing Visual Studio

    Please Note, choose the Community Edition, it is totally free and full Featured

    You do not need to worry about Visual C++ Redistributables those have nothing to do with coding in C or C++ at all

    When visual Studio finishes installing you will see a screen asking you how you would like to set up Visual Studio, choose C/C++ Programming and the initial Setup will do the rest for you to get the IDE ready for C/C++ Programming
