    Installing Win 10 over Win 7


    Hi.My Laptop Dell Latitude has Windows 7 Ultimate with software i have installed such as games and music production software.I can upgrade to Win 10 from Microsoft. The lap top can run Win 10 because i have two of them. One has 10 installed but the drive has dislodged and requires fixing. My question is, if i run the upgrade, will my software still remain installed and run after the upgrade?I remember being offered to install Win 10 about 4 years ago on my PC with the option to try it out and that i could switch back easily, but i never did it. Is this option still in place? My former questi

    Win.10 won't boot after installing Win.7

    Hi,

    So i installed Win.10 via the UEFI and after installing Win.7 on Legacy Mode onto a different HDD i can't boot into Win.10 (I believe can only because Win.10 was installed via UEFI)

    I tried installing the BCD Software but nope. I even tried to select my HDD but say Winload.exe error

    Even tried going into the USB and try repairing but the same thing happens

    Win 7 and Win 10 on network

    I have home network with separate modem, router, and WAP's. My Windows 7 computer does NOT list the Windows 10 computers on network computer list but the Windows 10 computers network list DO list the Windows 7 computer.

    Turned off firewalls, gave permissions, shared drives. Nothing allows Win 7 computer to access the Win 10 computers.

    Any suggestions for a fix?

    Is it still possible to find a Win 7 install .ISO?

    You managed to work it out: congratz!

    I had many issues when i moved to Ryzen 5 and could not get Win 7 to install properly because of USB not being detected but i fixed it ... by removing Win 7 ... permanently ...

    Now using Ubuntu.
