Windows 10: installing xps viewer on windows 10 - 64 bit

I am unable to install the xps viewer on my windows10 even after using the troubleshooter.

Error code recied is 0x80240438

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

I have seen many reviews which compare 64-bit vs. 32-bit and there is not much gain to see, unless you use specialized applications.

install xp 32bit (am sure you are using that now ;P so skip this)
install xp x64 (just make a new patision in windows xp 32bit)
