Windows 10: Integrated laptop Mic doesnt work but stereo mix is working instead

Hello I bought a new laptop 3 months ago. In the beginning everything was working fine but then windows 10 updated a few times and now my integrated microphone is not working, it is enabled and set as default device but doesnt record any sound while stereo mix is showing to record what im hearing. I tried to disable stereo mix but nothing changes. The microphone driver is up to date. Any ideas how to fix that?

Hi, i've been searching all day for a solution to this: i already set up stereo mix, and i know how to recive audio from pc and mic, the problem is that when i configure this way [enabling listening mic trough the default audio device], i listen myself trough the headphones/speakers, whatever im using to listen.
Any solution to avoid this happen?

i already tried disabling the "pink input" and the mic from the speaker levels tab, but doesnt work, i still listening it...

 

Stereo mic not working.

I recently bought a new mic, a cheap stereo mic from Sony, that replaces my old cruddy one but only dell audio is actually giving me stereo input and I have tried a lot to get this to work but it hasn't worked. I have windows 10 pro so it SHOULD support
things like this but does it really? And how can it be enabled? I would also like to get away from dell audio if anyone has any thoughts on how to do that. I have a Realtek integrated audio chip.

 

Stereo Mix Not Working

Hello, I have Windows 10. I was trying to use Stereo Mix as a recording device, but it wasn't working. I tried everything. I tried to disable and reenable. I also tried to disable my Microphone and enable Stereo Mix, but that didn't work either. I reached
out to YouTube videos to solve my issue, and someone uninstalled Stereo Mix and reinstalled it. I tried this, but my reinstall will not work. I have uninstalled Stereo Mix completely, and since I am having problems reinstalling the driver, I cannot use my
speakers anymore. Please help me out! Thanks.
