Windows 10: Integrated web camera and Win 10 recommendation

I have been trying to access my integrated web cam on my state of the art Toshiba satellite for weeks joke and from 2009 and came to the conclusion that it will be just as good to throw the laptop out of my truck in Houston, Texas traffic and be done with it. Although running WIn 10 on this system it originally ran Windows 7 home....made adjustments in settings for the updates thru old method control panel and uploaded a safe driver the camera. I have no idea..but probably the laptop heavens hinting at me that its time to let of the laptop. To be on the safe side I opened the monitor to che

PC Integrated Web Camera USB2.0 HD UVC WebCam not working

Has anyone come up with solution as to why PC Integrated Web Camera USB2.0 HD UVC WebCam is not working and comes up with the following message in events log.

Device USB\VID_0BDA&PID_5606&MI_00\7&1ff5eae7&0&0000 requires further installation.

I have tried update drivers, uninstall and install WebCam driver and windows 10 update but still Web Camera is not working.

Any suggestions on how to get the Web Camera up and running would be much appreciated

I assume by your comment "black screen appears in video call", you are experiencing problems in other camera apps as well, possibly Skype. If your camera isn't working in any applications this is indicative of a camera driver issue. Please try the steps
listed here to resolve your issue:

If your issue isn't resolved after running the steps, please report back with your camera make and model and the driver information you aquire from step 3.

Integrated Camera does not display color

I understand that you have issue with your integrated laptop camera in greyscale. Might I suggest that you check this link, it is having a different issue with yours but the procedure to fix is just the same. I suggest you follow the steps listed.

Also if this is the first time that you are using the webcam, can you check maybe there is a sticker/plastic in front of the camera.
