Windows 10: Intel 6 series / c200 series chipset family pci express root port 3

Hi,

I have an Acer Aspire M3970 with Intel Core i7-2600 CPU @ 3.4GHz processor, 16 GB RAM and Windows 10 version 1803. The upgrade attempts to versions 1809 and 1903 have failed: the computer blocks completely. The error message 0xC1900101 indicates a problem with the drivers and they are all up-to-date except for Intel 6 series / c200 series chipset family pci express root port 3: version 9.2.0.1016 from 2010-11-20 cannot be updated to version 9.2.0.35 from 2013-07-25: this process also blocks the computer. Switching off or removing this device also fails.

What can I do to solve this problem?

WHAT IS intel (R) 6 series/C200 series chipset family 6 port SATA AHCI controller-1C02 what is the function for this ? and does your computer need to have this ? on my computer, says is out of date.

It can be Highpoint SATA controller equipped with customized Marvell chip (using Highpoint Vendor ID). See my post Intel® 6 Series/C200 Series Chipset Family problem in device manager . and containing inffile.

Or wrong BIOS flash/mod.
