    Hi,
    Thank you for your prompt reply, I followed the steps below on Wireless_18.30.0_PROSet_64 which is provided by Intel and it did not work.
    I tried setting compatibility with Win7 and Win8 the wireless driver is not visible and when checking BIOS setup and system manager there is no wireless driver detected.

    following is the error message from device manager for Intel(R) Centrino(R) Advanced-N 6200 AGN driver

    This device cannot start. (Code 10)
    This device does not exist.

    Please note that initially the wireless internet was active till I restarted the machine then the above error persisted.

    is there a fix to this problem?
