Windows 10: Intel ".dll" files certificates are expired. It is detected while LSA Protection is enabled.

Intel Drivers' Certificates are expired in Windows 11. Intel needs to update their drivers ".dll" files' certificates and distribute via updates. It is causing conflict with Windows 11 LSA Protection. This is recognized while scanning with Windows 11 built-in File Signature Verification application.The screenshots below are just examples. All the ".dll" files listed by the verification app have this issues.djW

Disabling LSA protection

We have an internal issue causing something not to work when the LSA protection is enabled.

As we also have "Block credential stealing from the Windows local security authority subsystem (lsass.exe)" ASR rule, and following this recommendation that "having both running at the same time would be redundant" we want to turn off the LSA protection.

The problem starts with the fact that all our devices support Secure Boot and since years we use UEFI based devices.

On those machines the task of disabling LSA protection seems like very cumbersome and not straight forward.

Is there more easy and centralized way to disable LSA protection on a few thousands windows machines?

Expired certificate

When trying to update a Nokia N95 I am getting the message "Expired Certificate" after the step Install MMS Sync.



On the computer it is saying installation complete?



Is the installation complete or is the expired certificate a problem?

• Where exactly you get this error “Unknown certificate expires”? at the taskbar besides the clock
• Is your system connected to the Domain? Yes, but this only happes to 4 pcs, the rest 3.000 are working fine.
