Windows 10: Intel Onboard Graphics vs Video Card

Hi,

Your computer makes a noise or beeps from your internal speaker because it failed to detect the graphics card. What we can suggest is for you to try cleaning your graphics card with a pencil eraser. Here are the steps below:

• Turn your computer off.
• Pull out your video/graphics card.
• Rubbed the cold contacts with soft pencil eraser.
• Connect your video/graphics card back to the computer.

Kindly note that this is just a temporary fix. If the case still continues, I suggest that you contact your graphics card's manufacturer.

internal graphics and graphics card

hello,

I wanted to use both my onboard graphics and my graphics card. when i enable graphics card in the bios , then onboard graphics are disabled.i have one monitor and i wanted to use both graphics on it. i have amd graphics card and intel onboard graphics.my
graphics card is giving 2 gb of graphics memory and i have 8 gb of ram , that means i could get 1 gb from the ram , i.e. vram.that means i could get 3 gb of dedicated graphics graphics memory.although i am getting

Total Graphics Memory=5888 mb

Dedicated Video Memory=2048 mb (graphics card)

system video memory =0 mb

shared system memory=3840 mb

What is shared system memory,can i use it as DVM and why is system video memory 0 mb

Bios/system manufacturer lenovo and ram manufacturer-Crucial

Please help! Great help would be highly appreciated.

Laptop graphic onboard upgrade

There's no real graphics upgrade path with the G400s. The onboard Intel graphics are part of the CPU and can't be replaced. And if you didn't purchase the laptop with the optional nVidia GPU then there's no way to add it later.

Laptops with Thunderbolt can hook up an external graphics card but it looks like the G400s does not have that interface.

But what do you mean by "video design" that the onboard graphics can't handle?
