Windows 10: intel rst will not install

Discus and support intel rst will not install in Windows 10 Software and Apps to solve the problem; i couldnt install 4.6 preview .NET cause it said "i have 4.5.3 or newer installed" - however, i managed to install .NET 3.5 later without any issues....     Huh? Windows 10 comes with 4.6 already installed. So yeah, you can't install the preview because it's already installed. .NET 3.5 (despite the name) actually uses the .NET 2.0 CLR, while the .NET 4.6 uses the .NET 4.0 CLR. This means you can have .NET 3.5 and .NET 4.x both installed, but you can't have both .NET 4.5 and 4.6 installed because they both use the same CLR (this is changing ASP.NET 5, you'll be able to have multiple versions of .NET installed even with the same CLR going forward).

    In any event, it makes complete sense why you can install 3.5, but not 4.6, since 3.5 uses a different CLR and 4.6 is already installed.
