Windows 10: Intel UHD Graphics 630 "losing" connected monitor

**Edit - Note I just realized that this super awesome windows 10 automatic update system has me on 1803 and no recommended updates. I am manually updating to 1809 now to see if it helps.

****Edit - Now on version 1809 build 17763.292, no difference.

I appreciate reasonable suggestions but please read my (or anybody else's) entire post twice before making suggestions. Skimming over it and suggesting things I have already tried helps nobody.

Last Friday I built a brand new machine:
Asus WS Z390 PRO
I9-9900K
64GB RAM
Nvidia GTX 690
Windows 10 Professional
Intel Graphics Driver: 25.20.100.6519 (1/9/2019)
Nvidia Graphics Driver: 25.21.14.1771 (1/11/2019)

I originally set the computer up with the GTX 690 set up as the primary, with iGPU enabled. Everything worked just fine. I was able to connect two monitors to my GTX 690 and the third on my Intel Integrated graphics. Before anybody says just hook them all up to the 690, realize that you cannot do this and retain full performance on the 690.

Everything with the graphics configuration worked perfectly fine Friday night, Saturday, and Sunday. On Monday morning the monitor connected to the Intel graphics card did not wake up from sleep. I started looking at the graphics configuration and there was no mention at all of the 3rd monitor. I tried doing a detect and got nothing. I tried to open the Intel graphics control panel and got nothing. I looked in the device manager and the Intel graphics device is installed and appears to be working. I removed and re-installed the drivers and this did not help.

I went into the BIOS and set the integrated GPU to the default. The system went through the POST (now displayed on 3rd monitor) and booted into Windows and suddenly all my monitors worked. I thought this was rather odd, but whatever, it worked. Later that day I noticed that when the the monitors went to sleep (not the computer, just the monitors) the two connected to my Nvidia card went to sleep, but the monitor connected to the Intel graphics did not. It went blank, but the backlight was still on. I got to poking around and found that now in the control panel the Intel graphics adapter had an exclamation point on it saying it could not be started because it could not assign resources.

I did some research on this and found some suggestions. One was to enable above 4g decoding. If I do this windows 10 never boots. Another was to do the registry edit where I try the "HackFlags" values. This also did not work. Finally I just went back into the BIOS, set the primary display to the Nvidia card and rebooted. Windows booted right up, detected all 3 monitors, and everything was cool. It worked all night. I could open the Intel graphics control panel, everything is good.

This morning I checked and it was still working before I left for work. I later connected to my machine remotely (VNC) and it showed me all 3 monitors. After lunch I connected remotely again and I'm back to 2 monitors with absolutely zero mention of the 3rd. Before mentioning that it might be the VNC mirror driver causing problems, this problem occurred before I ever installed VNC.

I have swapped monitors and cables with no change. I have many years of IT experience dealing with hardware and software. I am an active software developer. My experience along with the myriad of Windows 10 problems people have with multiple displays tells me this is most likely a Windows problem and not a hardware problem.

intel UHD graphics no HDR

can someone help me solve the problem with the HDR option connected to intel uhd graphics 630 last drivers

my processor intel i7 8700k motherboard Fatal1ty Z370 Professional Gaming i7 nvidia 1080ti

the problem is that the HDR option is not available in windows 10 vers1709 bulid 16299.125 when connected is to intel graphics

if the connection to the nvidia card HDR is available .

as it is connected to nvidia dxdiag shows DXGI_COLOR_SPACE_RGB_FULL_G2084_NONE_P2020, that indicates
that this is for HDR10 and the connection is displaying advanced color.

when to intel show DXGI_COLOR_SPACE_RGB_FULL_G22_NONE_P709,that
indicates this is sRGB and not advanced color.

intel support claims that this is the fault of windows

please help thanks

Intel UHD Graphics 620 not supporting

Intel released a new device driver for the Intel UHD Graphics 620 on the 5th of this month, you should go to that Intel website, then download and install that full version of the driver to see if Intel have resolved these issues . . .
