  1. Intel Wireless Card

I am using dell inspiron 7559. I just upgraded my wifi card to Intel® Dual Band Wireless-AC 8260. But I am not getting the 5g speed. I have the latest driver. I am facing this problem only one windows. When I switch to ubuntu I get 200 Mbps speed. But when I switch to windows I only get 12-20 Mbps. Already upgraded the driver. Don't know what the problem is.

  2. Intel Wireless AC-3160 and DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL (Netwbw02.sys) BSOD

Like a lot of people here, I'm having repeated, random BSODs with the Intel AC-3160 wireless card during network activity with a fresh install of Windows 10 RS4.

    Things I've tried:

    • Latest BIOS update
    • Latest Windows Updates
    • Drivers from:
      • Intel website (latest)
      • Windows Update
      • Motherboard manufacturer (wireless card came with a motherboard)
    • Disabling the "allow windows to turn off this device..." option for anything related to the wireless card
    • Changing radio modes and settings on my wireless router
    • Changing which PCIe slot the card uses
    • Disabling the Bluetooth also present on the card (via device manager)

There's also a problem with connectivity being repeatedly lost with the wireless router which is most likely related to the BSODing. I'm kinda out of ideas and googling the problem only returns the same old "update your drivers" response.

Is anyone aware of an actual fix for this issue?

  3. intel centrino wireless n1000

    Abdul,

I tried both options without success. Prior to the update on 12-12-15 I had wireless access. Now my wireless button will not turn on. The system doesn't recognize it as being off. Says it is a problem with the hw wifi button. I have tried rebooting.
Shutting off the system and rebooting, and what you suggested. All to my sadness. It works of course with wired system. It worked with wifi up to the minute the update was installed. After wifi sense was on my system I had no way to turn on wifi. What
now? I also tried updating drivers particularly the n1000 intel Centrino.

  4. Intel Wireless Card

(SOLVED/CLOSED)looking for help with Android phone CONSTANT wireless signal notification

Yeah, thats not a solution she is interested in......I've suggested that course of action. Thanks though.

Just to clarify, I feel that there MUST be a step, or series of steps to turn off JUST the wireless notification sound. Thats what Im driving @ here.
