Windows 10: Intermittent failure to paste into the mail app on windows 11

I find an Intermittent failure to paste into the mail app on windows 11. It will often paste previously stored content from the clip buffer. Today I conducted the following tests, I attempted to cut from a browser query bar a twitter url and it pasted content previously cut from the mail app. I cur from the browser, pasted to notepad, cut and pasted from notepad to the mail app and got the same result. I turned on clip history and tried to paste from the clip history, but it didn't work and then it did. Why does this occur and how can I have confidence it will continue to work?I have catego

Mail app will not open on 10041.

This is the suggested solution below if you haven't already tried it.

In this Windows 10 build 10041, the Mail, Calendar, and People apps may be broken due to a licensing issue with the Store Beta. To get these apps working again, you need to follow these steps:

• Open powershell as administrator
• Run the command Get-appxprovisionedpackage –online | where-object {$_.packagename –like “*windowscommunicationsapps*”} | remove-appxprovisionedpackage –online
• Re-install Mail, People and Calendar from the Store (green tile)

 

Cannot paste into Windows Mail

To help you with your concern, we suggest that you follow the steps below on how to clear the clipboard in Windows 10:

• On the search box, kindly type or copy and paste, cmd.exe /c cd 2>"%UserProfile%\empty.txt" & clip < "%UserProfile%\empty.txt".
• Click on cmd.exe /c cd 2>"%UserProfile%\empty.txt" & clip < "%UserProfile%\empty.txt"
  (Run command).
• Try to use the copy and paste function again.

If the issue still persists, we suggest that you repair or reset the Mail app. To do so, follow the steps below:

• Open Settings, and select Apps.
  
• On the Apps & features tab, find the name of the missing app. Click the app and select
  Advanced options (if available).
• If a Repair option is available, click Repair. If this option is not available, or if Repair does not resolve the issue, you may also try the
  Reset option, though you might lose any app data that was saved.

I did that to no avail, then I ran WSReset.exe; now I'm good on all 3, Mail, Calendar and People! *Confused
Go figure!
