Windows 10: Internal HD seagate suddenly stopped showing up

Hello,

My internal HD seagate 500GB suddenly stopped dhowing up on my computer along with my external HD 1TB. I was able to fix my external HD by allocating drive letter from disk management. But internal still no luck.

So the internal drive sometimes shows up in disk management as

Disk 1
Unknown

Not initialized

When I right-click to initialize gives me error virtual disk manager the system cannot find the file specified

Shows up in disk part cmd as,

Online 0mb size 0 free space

Does not show up in tools minitool partition, easeus data recovery.

Most of the time suddenly disappears from disk management as well. and rescan does not bring it back.

Please help how to recover it if possible with data in it.

Windows 10 & Seagate Ext HD Back-up +

Installed Windows 10 and my Seagate Ext HD, Back-up + will go to 5% and freeze up. Consequently, nothing is backed up. I spoke with Seagate and they do not have any answer. Any suggestions?

 

Seagate external hd works fine w/ Win7 but not w/ Win10!

Yes 'Disk Drive' is listed & I've tried repeatedly to reload the drivers.

Note that this problem is specific to my Seagate ext USB3 hd.

That 'new' USB3 protocol has never ever appeared before now & it also did NOT appear for either of the two USB3 ext hd's I have connected at this very moment.

I sure wish I could use the old drivers from win7.
