Internet connection becoming slow followed by blue screen whenever I download something

    Hi there,

It has been one month since I made a clean Install of Windows 10 on my Lenovo Y510p Laptop. I have a 150Mbps Internet connection and I am connected via Ethernet cable.

Whenever I make Downloads, I am getting BSOD. For example, If I make a 10GB download in Browser / Torrent / IDM or whatever it is, by the time the download completes around 30%, my internet becomes slow like from 10-15 MB/second to 1-2 MB/sec and in next 5 minutes, my PC gets Blue Screen error.

It looks like problem with the Ethernet Driver, but the community knows better than me. Please help me. I am a freelancer and I work from home and literally I am not making even small downloads from one month as whenever I do that, i am getting Blue Screen error and it's disturbing for work.

    Thanks.

    :)

  2. Loss of internet connection followed by blue screen

For the past week and a half, my Dell Inspiron 7537 has been losing its connection to the internet and then crashing. At first I am able to connect to Wi-Fi or Ethernet with no issues and can browse, download files, or stream music and videos. After a
while (it could be minutes or hours), I get the little yellow triangle next to the Wi-Fi or Ethernet icon saying "Connected, no Internet." After this it's only a matter of time before I get a blue screen with the error message "IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL." My
internet connection is fine again upon restart (until it isn't!).

I've searched the error message and tried numerous fixes:

    • Run the Memory Diagnostics Tool. This didn't find anything wrong.
    • Uninstalled and reinstalled my antivirus software.
    • Disabled each of my network drivers (adapters? Sorry, I'm not really clear on the terminology here) in Safe Mode and re-enabled one by one to check for problems.
    • Done a full network reset (automatic uninstall/reinstall of network drivers/adapters)
    • Gone to the Dell website and run hardware diagnostics (didn't find anything wrong). Also installed driver updates.
Again, none of these have helped the problem. I've noticed that my network adapter becomes disabled when this happens, and I can't re-enable it. My other devices connect normally, so I don't *think* it's a problem with Wi-Fi itself. I live in a college
apartment with complex-wide internet, so I don't have a router to reset anyway. I could call our ISP if you guys think it's their issue, though.

I'm at my wit's end here, and I really, really hope this isn't a hardware issue! I guess my next step before taking my computer to a pro would be to reinstall Windows 10. Before I go to that trouble, do you all have any suggestions?
