Windows 10: Internet connection freezes

Don't know how the chip is the problem if I only got this problem 6 days ago, and I have the PC since December, like I said. Also when ordering my PC from pcspecialists, they said a 650W PSU wouldn't be necessary. I turned off the WiFi on my phone and I'll see if it fixes it for now.

 

Assuming the only wireless is yours it shows as 71% Radio type : 802.11n Channel n type is 300 meg but your running ac speed 3 gig so is your router set up for only n type? The signal is also border line at 71% it can drop off

Okay i am 95% certain your using the 2.4Ghz and not the 5 Ghz, that is why you have low speed, as to the freezes, could be your psu does not deliver enough power, and with everything your running in the background your PC must feel like a brick

 

You can try, but i doubt it will help and with 71% something is interfering badly, with your Router, well if you where told 350 should be enough i wont argue, but i would never buy a 350 myself *Biggrin
but your connected to the right subnet , but your not connected to the 5Ghz 97% sure, try moving the router a bit to either side just a couple centimeter, see if you get a better signal.

And i would also look in the temp folder and make sure its not "full" because could also be your hard drive does not have enough space so when its full well PC just stops *Biggrin

 

My PC is fine, there's no problem with that. It runs everything smooth as ever. It's only the internet connection that's the problem. And it's safe to say, I just played an online game, and the phone is not interfering with the connection. I turned it off and it still happened 3 times.

 

Also, using the 5Ghz is worse than 2.4 for me, since the router isn't in my room. it's 5 meters away through a wall.

 

Alright guys, thank you for the answers and all the help. I found a solution. I messed around with the adapter options and put the wireless mode on IEEE 802.11a/n strictly. It no longer shows internet connections that are not 5GHz and the connection is perfect. I also changed the roaming sensitivity level to high, but I'm not sure if that's what fixed the problem. Either way, the problem's gone for now. I'll see if it returns.
