Windows 10: INTERNET CONNECTIONS-WINDOWS 10

I have an HP All-in-One 24-e0XX computer, which came with the Windows 10 operating system already installed. Suddenly, I have no WIFI connection. When I pull up settings for Network & Internet, the only options showing are: Ethernet, Dial Up and VPN. When I click on Show Available Networks, nothing appears. If I run the troubleshooter, it tells me to plug an Ethernet cable into the computer. Using Win+E, then clicking on Network, shows an empty folder. The yellow box at the top tells me I am not connected to a Network, click to connect----but nothing happens. At one point, a box popped up telling me that Network Discovery was turned off and that I should turn on Network Discovery in the Network & Sharing Center. I then went to the Network Sharing Center and under Change sharing options for different network profiles----Private, Network Discovery----I found that turn on network discovery is all ready marked, along with Turn on automatic setup of network connect devices. Everything listed under Network Properties status is showing not present, not operational and disconnected. WIFI is not even listed. I even tried Network reset---but nothing changed. This computer has been working fine---until this problem appeared yesterday. All my other network connected devices are working perfectly---i.e. Amazon Alexa and my laptop, which I am using now and it is right next to the All-In-One computer. Only the All-In One is not working. It is as if something is turned off somewhere. I even looked on my keyboard to see if there is a button to turn Internet off and on, but I do not see one. Any help with this issue would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

  Click "Search" and type "Troubleshooting" without quotes and hit enter.

  Click “View All”
  
• 
  Select "Internet Explorer connection"

Upgrading to Windows 10 from windows 7 and losing internet connection

A couple of days ago I upgraded my desktop to windows 10 after getting one of those MS prompts. However now I cannot access the internet and suspect the drivers from the Gigabyte GA-MA790X-ud4 motherboard does not support the internet drivers required. Searching the manufacturers website has not given me any joy either. Can anyone offer any suggestions?

Did you run the Windows 10 connection troubleshooter?

Troubleshoot Internet connection problems

Also, check in the "Device Manager" to see if the network adapter is ok.
You may need to un-install it and then "Scan for new devices".
