Windows 10: Internet Explorer 11 doesn't show webpages properly after System Reset

After the System Reset for Windows 10 on my Laptop, it is not displaying webpages correctly on Internet Explorer 11. Below is the screenshot. Help would be greatly appreciated! *Smile

From the above description, I understand after upgrading to Windows 10 certain webpages shows broken and jumbled in Internet explorer.



Method 1: Check if similar issue occurs on browsing the webpages in
In-private browsing mode of Internet explorer browser. Pressing
Ctrl + Shift + P keys on the keyboard after launching the browser to open
In-private browsing mode of Internet Explorer.



Method 2: If the issue persists, reset
Internet Explorer by following steps from the link below and check if the issue is resolved.

Charts not rendering image in IE11 but fine in other browsers

To find out if this is caused by some browser settings that have been changed, we suggest resetting Internet Explorer. This will disable add-ons and toolbars and restore default web browser settings, privacy settings, security settings, advanced options,
tabbed browsing settings, and pop-up settings. To do this, follow these steps:

• Close Internet Explorer.
• Click Start.
• Type inetcpl.cpl and press Enter.
• Under the Advanced tab, click Reset.
• Click Reset one more time.
• Click Close.
• Restart your computer.

If the webpage stays the same and still doesn't display the charts, we recommend contacting the webpage developer so that they can optimize the page to be fully compatible with IE 11.

Since I do not use Bing, I fail to notice any issue from the screenshot.
Would you mind elaborate ?

Meanwhile, if you suspect IE11 not working properly, reset your IE11.

Internet Options > Advanced tab at the top > Reset...

P.S. any reason you hide the Menu bar ?

 

The problem you are getting is to do with IE11 not loading your web pages properly.
I had this problem on windows 8.1.
Since upgrading to 10 and disabling IE11 and using Bing the problem has gone.
The way I used to overcome it was to clear the cache then do a restart

Internet Explorer is a browser.
Bing is NOT a browser.
One cannot use Bing or any search engine without a browser.

If you want to try using Edge instead of IE11. Please go ahead. You might even like it. Who knows.
If you want to stay with IE11, then do an Internet Explorer reset and see if the issue is gone.

 

Everything loads fine on Microsoft Edge. I haven't changed the Start page. I left it default. But I will try to reset it and see if that fixes it.

 

What do you mean "Would you mind elaborate"? I get what you are saying but I don't understand why I need to elaborate.

Also, what Menu bar are you talking about? Are you talking about Tools bar?

 

Let's make this clear. I use both Microsoft Edge and IE 11. I just want my IE 11 fixed. I know Internet Explorer is no one's favorite browser, but it's really never failed me so I have no complaints with it, except for when it used to crash and for problems like this.

 

I was asking you to point out what was wrong with the screenshot you posted because I could not see what was wrong with it.. That's what " elaborate" meant.

By menu bar, I meant this.......................

 

David, if you look at his screen on MSN he has 5 blank items showing, see those gray boxes?? and on the right side, its also blank. Their should be pictures in those areas, not a blank gray square. *Smile

 

Never put Bing is a Browser.
Edge is a browser
So with Bing as search engine and edge as browser
It brings the same as IE11 and Google
I missed that bit out

I wouldn't know the difference as I don't use Bing.

 

That's ok David, but that page is not Bing, its MSN.COM which uses Bing as its search program. *Smile

MSN has been my home page for years, and I use IE11 most of the time.
