    Hi!

    I have a problem with my Computer in that even though I can use the internet through any browser, Windows apps, Windows itself etc keep claiming there is no internet/network connection.

    So, I can sit here typing to you browsing facebook you tube whatever, but Windows will not update, photos proclaims I'm not connected, settings say i'm not connected, and Store claims i'm not connected. Which after having performed a reinstall of 10, means i cant download any of my apps or update windows.

    Done numerous network reboots, reinstalled drivers, hit level two techs at microsoft but still nought.

    Trouble shooters have done nowt.

    HP support network diagnostic says alls well!

    So anyone experiencing similair or any fresh ideas hitherto lacking implementaion?

    Regards

    A

    :)

    2. Win+X->Control Panel->Netwok and Sharing Center
      Follow the screen shot. This should disable internet access from this PC but allows access to local device(s)
      NOTE: Use the IP & Subnet Mask from step 1. Leave Default gateway & DNS Server blank
