Windows 10: Internet not working after an update +cant login

Windows 10 did an update, now I can't login to my account.


I was told that this is networking issue. My internet works fine on all devices, except the one.


When I'm in login screen I see the cable-internet icon with red cross, when I click it there is an airplane mode available and nothing else. The internet cable is connected to the laptop.


I have assignments due next week and the files are on the account which I cannot access, due to internet connection not being recognized. Can anyone help me?

I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if it helps.

Step 1: I suggest you to select the appropriate language in login screen at the bottom right corner and check if it helps.

Steps 2: Use On-screen keyboard in the login screen to login and check if it helps.

  Do you receive any error message, while trying to Login to your computer?
  

As per your query, I suggest you to try logging to your computer through safe mode and run network troubleshooter.

Follow the below steps:

Step 1: Start the computer in Safe mode.

• Press and hold Shift key and Restart your Computer.
• 
  Select Troubleshoot.
  
• 
  Select Advance Option.
  
• 
  Select Startup Settings.
  
• 
  Follow the on Screen instruction.
  

Step 2: Perform Network Troubleshooter.

Follow the below steps:

• 1) Press Windows key + x key and select
  Control panel.
• 2) Select Troubleshooting.
• 3) Select Network and Internet, click Internet Connections.
• 4) Follow the on screen instructions.

Login problem with no internet connection.
