Windows 10: Internet time sync on Windows 10

I have been trying to sync my device time with the internet but it is not working. It was working fine until I formatted my pc in order to remove some malware my antivirus couldnt detect.


I have checked everything I need to, my location, tried to sync it from control panel using different servers but its simply not working.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK

Windows 1809 Internet time sync not wotking


Bootup, goto bios setup screen and check the time. windows uses the bios to set the time, not internet time sync in my experience. Someone said if it is too far off from bios setting for time, windows will never sync the time to internet time. Linux always sets PC to internet time at boot into linux os. But if no internet will default to bios time setting.
