Windows 10: Internet usage

Hello,


I was wondering if anyone could help me in turning off data usage monitoring, I've seen all about how to reset and find it, but I want to turn it off, and still be able to use my internet.


Also, does your internet get slowed down if you use too much data?

• Is your Windows 10 up-to-date? If not, you may refer to this
  link in order to check for pending updates as well as the Windows update history.
  
• We would just like to verify how you are able to see that your computer is getting more internet usage. If you have a screen shot of it, you may post it here without sensitive information such as contact details, email addresses etc.
  
• Does it happens when your using Internet Explorer 11 only? Is it also the same while using other browsers?
  
• What troubleshooting steps have you taken so far?

Data card usage in windows 10

I understand your concern and will assist you to resolve this issue.

I suggest you to follow the steps to check which application is using Data.

• 
  Open the Settings app, and click/tap on the
  Network & Internet icon.
  
• 
  Click/tap on Data usage on the left side. You will now see a general overview of the network data usage from the last 30 days on your PC.
  
• 
  Click/tap on the Usage details link on the right side under
  Overview.
  
• 
  You will now see how much network data has been used by each app from the last 30 days.
  

After that go to task manager and End Task the Application which uses the internet.

• 
  Press ctrl +shift +Esc to open Task manger.
