Windows 10: iomegaware software with windows 10

I found an old zip 100 Iomega drive and some disks. I plugged it in to my computer running win 10 and it started right up with no problems. I can read and write to the drive fine but I have a couple disks that were protected and from what I understand you need the Iomegaware to read them witch makes sense. you I found the lasted version I could find ioware-w32-x86-402 and installed it also with no issues until you reboot the computer. It comes up with the blue screen of death and you have to system restore and get windows back up and running. Even tried running the install with the troubleshooting compatibility wizard and got the same result. If anyone can come up with an alternative option, i'll try it. Thank You, Michael

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK
