Windows 10: IP Issues

Hello everyone, I've been working lately with IP's in VirtualBox with Windows10 Enterprise Evaluation and now I have to modify my IP adress. This shouldn't be a problem but everytime I change my current IP, I receive no connection from the Internet. It gets fixed when I reset the values to automatic IP in TCP/IPv4 . I have an ethernet connection and only one net driver from VirtualBox works "Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller"

I dont know how to fix that

This issue could have occurred due incorrect TCP\IP Address settings.



Try the steps listed here:



Method 1:

I suggest you to reset TCP\IP and check if it helps.

Note: Applies to Windows 10.



Method 2:

If the issue persists, I suggest you to try these steps to Flush DNS and request a new IP address from your ISP server. Check if it helps.

• 
  Click on
  Start and type cmd on start search.
  
• 
  Right-click on command prompt Run
  and selectas administrator.
  
• 
  At the command prompt, type the following commands and hit
  Enter after each command.
  

ipconfig /flushdns

ipconfig /registerdns

ipconfig /release

ipconfig /renew

exit

That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.

With regard to your query, we suggest that you try resetting the TCP/IP by using the steps below:

• Press Windows + X keys.
• Click on Command Prompt (Admin).
• Type the command below:
  
  netsh int ip reset
• Hit Enter to execute the command.
• Reboot the PC for the changes to take effect.
