Windows 10: IPSec Preshared Key communication Difference with Windows 10

Hi ,

We configured IPSec Setting through the Windows Firewall Advanced settings . We are communicating with an end device running IPSec.


We use the following configuration script to configure the windows firewall for IPSec communication.

The Windows 7 machine establishes communication easily withe same firewall configuration script.

But Windows 10 sends lot of ISAKMP ( Identity Protection (Main Mode) ) packets too frequently bombarding the end device.

Why is windows 7 smooth and windows 10 ?


Is there any way I Can force Windows 10 to wait for little long after sending ISAKMP - Identify Protection (Main Mode) packet.

It take 15 minutes for my device to establish session with windows 10 machine.

n 97 mini invalid preshared WPA key

Hi guys, I also suffer form this bug of invalid preshared WPA key. The WLAN worked before, but stopped working one fine day. Have tried most of the things in these forum which I could understand. Also did a hard reset with thanks to U tube, but still
with that invalid preshared key situation. Laptop and another device works well on the same WLAN. Is the WPA preshared key same as the password for the WLAN connection. If so have performed this step a dozen times. No luck. have been using a D link
ADSL 502T and a D link wireless router. Need assistance please. Not much of a tech guy so be patient and verbose.

 

VPN Issue when connecting to L2TP / IPSec connection

I am facing issue when connecting VPN using L2TP/IPSec with the preshared key since the latest Microsoft update.

Is any way to connect to the VPN? or Microsoft is brining any patch for it?

Thanks for you reply on my question. The thing is that I want to setup an special VPN connection. Only IPSEC without the preshared key. It's possible to setup a VPN connection on a Windows phone, but only with the preshared key.

So i'm looking for a way to setup a VPN connection with IPSEC but without L2TP(preshared key).
