    Ipv6 intermittent network access


    Hi, if anyone can help it would be appreciated. I have looked around online, but don't see exactly the same issue elsewhere.

    For a few days - possibly since I switched from McAfee to Bitdefender Internet Security, I have intermittently been losing internet. I investigated a little and found that I can usually open Google and get search results, but no other websites will load. On looking at my network settings, I see that 'IPv6 connectivity has no network access' during these times.

    It either self resolves after 10 or so minutes (sometimes), or resolves if I disconnect and reconnect by going into airplane mode. Also restarting the computer fixes it. However, it is always temporary. I don't seem to do anything special to trigger the problem.

    If anyone can help, I would appreciate it.

    IPv6 "no network access"

    Does your ISP and the router actually support IPv6? Obviously there are regional variations but not that many actually do and are limited to IPv4.

    The two different standards should have no significant implications for speed anyway, they are primarily just two different addressing schemes. Data transfer rates should really be the same.

    IPv6 "no network access"

    IPv6 will not connect to the internet. I think this is why i have been experiencing so much lag recently. Does anyone know a way to reconnect IPv6? I have tried going into cmd and using: "ipconfig /release and ipconfig /renew" and "netsh winsock reset catalog
    and netsh int ipv6 reset reset.log". Both did not work, obviously. So, what should i do? Thanks.
