  1. IPv6 no network access

I've been trying to set up IPv6, and so far, I've enabled it on my TP-Link router.

    IPv6 no network access a99d6913-e2ad-4afa-a2cb-2dd150ff29a5?upload=true.png

However, every time I try to test for IPv6 support at test-ipv6.com, it says I do not have IPv6 support. When I check my connection status from the network adapter settings, this is what I see:

    IPv6 no network access 8ac6b033-7c51-4b86-aa62-673f5b6e47fb?upload=true.png

    I tried

    netsh winsock reset catalog

    netsh int ipv6 reset reset.log

but that didn’t work. Does anyone have a solution? I’m using a Surface Book, my ISP is Comcast, and my wireless card is an Intel® Wi-Fi 6 AX201.

    :)

    IPv6 No Network Access - Windows 10 1703

    Hi KumaTee,

It could be that there is an application in your system that blocks IPv6 from having network access, or that your network settings are incorrectly configured, etc. For us to isolate the issue in IPv6 having a no network access, kindly respond to the questions
    below:

    • Have you made any significant changes to your device prior to the issue?
    • Are there any third-party antivirus applications installed on your device?
    • Have you tried restarting your modem and wireless router? This would help create a new connection to your Internet Service Provider (ISP). Keep in mind that all devices that are connected to the network would be temporarily disconnected.
    • May we have a complete list of the troubleshooting steps that you have done? This is for us to know and to avoid any duplication of efforts on your end.

We look forward to your response.
