    IRQL and freezing


    Got a sinking feeling my drivers are giving me trouble, but just want a touch of help to know if that's the case. Pretty often, the entire system freezes completely, forcing me to completely cut the power and reboot. Got a Driver Overran stack buffer bsod midway through typing this, only really making me think it's drivers more.

    Screen Freezing up

    Andre, thanks for your suggestions. I performed all steps as you listed and it appears that there were

    some problems that have been corrected. I will let you know in a day or so if the "freeze" problem

    occurs again. Many thanks for your help --- this took longer than I expected!
