TRACKING WITH SERIAL NUMBER

I am Hussain Shihabdeen from Qatar Recently i lost my laptop Dell Latitude E6430 device i have only serial number of the laptop how to track the location with serial number. i mean is there any methods to get notification from the device when connect to
internet i haven't install any tracking software. if i have installed my doubt is if the device is fully erased include other disks with c: how to locate that with serial number...? please help me to locate the device.

If you have lost your computer, first of all, we recommend you to report it to the police.

Also, I can't track your computer by serial number.

However, you can visit the website below:

Microsoft account | Sign In or Create Your Account Today – Microsoft

Log in to the same Microsoft account for the computer you want to track

Then click Privacy > Location

This will allow you to find your device's route

However, this tracking method only shows the location of the last powered-on computer login

Once your account is logged out, the last location before you logged out will not change.

Track laptop via serial number

I'm sorry to hear that your laptop has been taken. If your laptop has been reformatted, it may not be possible to track it using the Find My Device feature. Unfortunately the "Find my device" feature doesn't supporting using serial number. I am sorry. I hope you have reported this to local police and see if there's anything else they can do for you.
