    Is feature update from Windows 10 1607 to Windows 10 1809 supported?


    We have networks setup to upgrade Windows 10 using WSUS to deliver the feature update. Is updating Windows 10 1607 to Windows 1809 using the feature update supported by Microsoft? I can't find a definitive statement on this. Is feature update from any supported version to the latest version assumed unless they state it won't work?

    Windows 10 1607/1703, Office 2016, browser of choice with "remember tabs" feature.
    If rebooted due to updates, Windows WILL "try" to bring it all back up just like you left it. Yes, it's a feature that exists.

    Well, at the moment at least, you can choose to defer upgrades. Under Settings > Windows Updates > Advanced options you need to check the box labeled "Defer upgrades". What does that do? Good question. The answer I've found might illuminate it to a degree.

    I hear this only applies to Pro and Enterprise editions. But I can't verify that.
