Is it advisable/useful to have a second (full) Administrator account?

Thank you. I think I got it. I now have a standard user, Microsoft account (with a password) for everyday use and I have an Administrator, local account which is also password protected. The latter account is to be used in an emergency should there be something wrong with my everyday-use standard account.
