    Well just noticed a pretty large one pop up coming in at 914MB, seems it makes some pretty serous updates.

    Microsoft to make Windows 10 updates mandatory

    Well, at the moment at least, you can choose to defer upgrades. Under Settings > Windows Updates > Advanced options you need to check the box labeled "Defer upgrades". What does that do? Good question. The answer I've found might illuminate it to a degree.

    I hear this only applies to Pro and Enterprise editions. But I can't verify that.

    Oh. Your "Registry" must have gotten screwed up FLY3R. If for some reason you couldn't download your updates I suppose you could go to the update site, and run throught the steps 'till it fails activation. Then you could go up to "Tools > Manage Add ons > then disable "Windows Genuine Advatage Validation Tool." Of course you should only use this method if you are having problems updating your legitamate copy of Windows XP. Perhaps do to a corrupted piece of software? *Smile Is it okay to update a feature update in windows 10 if your windows isnt activated? :)
