    Is it possible for my notebook to support more RAM?


    Hi!
    I have a Samsung Netbook NP-N210-JA03ES. For some reason, it came out-of-the-box with a 32 bit OS, so I upgraded it to Windows 10 Pro 64bit, and a 240 GB Crucial SSD. The maximum RAM supported, according to Samsung, is 2 GB, but we all know how false are the official specs given by the brands.
    Now I'm wondering if, by modifying it's BIOS, I could install a 4 GB RAM module.
    What do you think?

    That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

    At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.

    Cortana Notebook

    In order to enable the Notebook icon in Cortana, I suggest you to check if you have enabled Cortana.

    To enable Cortana, please follow the steps below:

    • Go to Cortana.
    • Go to Settings.
    • Turn on “Cortana can give you suggestions, ideas, reminders, alerts”.

    Hey genesis what hardware have you bought, you might be able to save on the ram and step up the rest of the hardware a little...

    Or you could go out on the town as suggested... *Big Grin Is it possible for my notebook to support more RAM? :D
