    I know this is a dumb question but i just want to know if you can remove windows on a computer by removing the hdd/ssd its installed in and do i need to install windows agian if i replace the hdd/ssd

    Removing Windows

    I am wanting to remove windows from my SSD. My SSD is only 120GB and program files automatically install there, I have tried changing directories to another drive but it eventually messes something up. So now I will be installing windows to onto my HDD and the SSD will be the second drive.

    Does anyone have some advice on how to completely remove windows from my SSD?

    HDD to SSD

    I don't understand why you changed the boot order in your BIOS.

    When you image or clone an HDD, and restore the image or clone to an SSD, you've got an identical copy of your computer on a different hard drive. Nothing has changed, really. So the next step is to remove the HDD from your computer and replace it with the
    SSD, then carry on as normal.
