Windows 10: is it possible to convert HDMI to DisplayPort? (in that order)

Discus and support is it possible to convert HDMI to DisplayPort? (in that order) in Windows 10 Drivers and Hardware to solve the problem; it seems liek a silly question but i cant seem to find a simple HDMI -> DP adapter for cheap but i can find a ton of DP to hdmi adapters. my issue is...     is it possible to convert HDMI to DisplayPort? (in that order)


    it seems liek a silly question but i cant seem to find a simple HDMI -> DP adapter for cheap but i can find a ton of DP to hdmi adapters. my issue is that i have a snowblind case that takes up my ONLY hdmi port on my video card, but i have another monitor that needs the hdmi as well (in short i have 3 monitors and 2 of them are hdmi but i only have one hdmi slot.

    cant i just use those dp to hdmi adapters backwards?

    Displayport/HDMI Adapter

    HI everyone!

    I have a Thinkpad T420 and recently i bought a Displayport-HDMI Adapter for it so i can i connect it to my TV.

    But it turns out that although the video is connected and clear the audio still plays on laptop instead of TV. And also that the TV shows ''DVI'' connected instead of HDMI which i assume is the problem.

    Please do suggest any solution as quickly as possible.

    2560x1080 issue with Displayport to HDMI

    So, i have a gtx 960 which has only one HDMI port. I want to attach an Oculus Rift, so I left with Displayports only. I bought a converter. (Everything is fine when i use HDMI) (I have an LG Ultrawide)



    My issue is that its not possible to set higher resolution than 1920x1080, and i got the freshest drivers.
