Windows 10: Is it possible to disable the hideous Tablet-looking Settings windows?

I hate when I click an icon in Control Panel and see those unsightly hideous windows, which are all that shows after I made the mistake to upgrade build H20 or something just today.


Is there a way to disable these ugly windows I attached a picture with the ugly windows, the previous build had a much better look which I prefer to this new ugly window, but evidently MS developers don't share my good tastes.


I tried to go back to the previous build, but then I got a lying window saying it's been more than 10 days since I upgraded, which is a lie because I did this just today. It's a MS thing probably.


Not a big deal, if there is a way to disable these ugly windows and go back to the good looking ones?

Please help.

Windows !0 tablet keyboard issue

This issue might occur if the tablet mode is enabled.

I suggest you to disable the tablet mode and check if it helps.

Follow the below steps:

• 
  Type setting in the search area in the task bar and select
  Settings.
  
• 
  Select on System option.
  
• 
  Select Tablet mode in the left panel of system Windows.
  
• 
  Toggle off the tablet mode.

You can disable tablet mode in settings

Disabling Tablet Mode :

• Go to the Tablet Mode tab under Settings -> System -> Tablet Mode
• Toggle the "make Windows more touch friendly" option off.
• Select whether the device switches modes automatically ->change to Dont Ask/Don't Switch.

 

windows 7 tablet edition?

There is no "tablet" edition of windows 7 (all versions of windows 7 except possibly basic have the same functionality when it comes to tablets)- if it detects you have a tablet pc it changes a few settings (icon sizes) and installs a couple of extra applications which can be used with wacom/touchscreen style setups.

You can install windows 7 from USB with no problems, but I am not familiar enough with the steps required to do it.
