Is it possible to install and/or run iTunes on a Surface Book 2?

    Hi,

I have a Surface Book 2 running Windows 10 Pro and want to install iTunes (to keep compatibility with other devices, use existing accounts, continue using existing libraries, etc., etc.). I understand that all apps must be installed from the Microsoft Store but, when I find the iTunes app page, there's no "Buy" or "Get" button.

The store page states that the app is compatible with "PC" which, since the Surface Book 2 is running Windows 10 Pro and has an Intel processor, I would assume would mean it would work, but I can't see any control which would start the download. The Surface Book 2 meets all the requirements stated (and even has little green ticks next to the entries), but from what I've read on the Microsoft Support pages, if there's no "buy" button, Microsoft considers the app incompatible.

    Is this true?

Does Microsoft consider a Surface Book 2 to be an XBox when it comes to compatibility issues?

I've also looked for some other random apps on Microsoft Store and none of them seem to have the "buy" button visible. I've added a payment option to my Microsoft account, but is there something else I must do to obtain apps from the store?

    All help gratefully received . . .

    :)

  3. Installing windows insider on a new surface book 2

I just got a new surface book 2. I want to install windows insider on another partition on the hard drive. I can dual boot on my other machines but it looks like there is something different with installing on the surface book 2 and I don't want to
hose by Win10 regular installion by installing Insider over it. Any suggestions? I posted this a while back on what I thought was the insider hub but can't get back to it.
