Discus and support Is it safe to use programs to modify windows features? in Windows 10 Ask Insider to solve the problem; For example Rainmeter, to add a clock on the main page and this type of software, like the ones used to modify the taskbar etc.. are they safe to use?...     Is it safe to use programs to modify windows features?


    For example Rainmeter, to add a clock on the main page and this type of software, like the ones used to modify the taskbar etc.. are they safe to use? Or at least Rainmeter is?

    Why did the startup window get cleared?

    I didn't missed any step, the list was gone and gone , even after using lot of programs the programs were not listed in that list.

    If that setting is already enabled, then I suggest as the next troubleshooting step might be Mozilla Safe Mode (not to be confused with Windows Safe Mode)):

    We would like to know more about this issue that you're encountering with your computer showing a blank screen when you open the Windows features. Kindly answer the following:

    • Are you trying to develop a program?
    • Is .Net Framework 4.7 a requirement by a program that you're going to use?
    • Have you tried opening the Windows features in safe mode?
    • Have you tried opening the Windows features on a different user profile?
