Windows 10: Is nobody at Microsoft able to answer questions about error # 0x80070035??? The Network...

It appears that Windows 10 has a "feature" that makes some Windows 7 and 10 computers on my LAN/WLAN inaccessible, even when they are visible in "Network". All computers reside on a single Class C subnet.


The new Windows 10 machine I'm typing this message on is invisible and/or inaccessible to all machines on my LAN.


All computer can be successfully pinged from all other computers on the LAN.


There's no way I can see to join the HomeGroup in which all of my other computers are members. Not that it matters - the Windows 10 computers that ARE members are not accessible by other computers on the network.


Rebooting computers and the router with DHCP service doesn't help. I never had such problems when all of my computers were running Windows 7 and Linux (using SAMBA on Linux).


The network troubleshooter is completely useless.


Would Bill Gates have tolerated such careless by your developers and integration testers, not to mention the lack of support?


From the dates spanning years on the user messages about these issues, and the total lack of solutions, it appears that your support staff is ignoring us. That's pretty lame.

Hi,
I am unable to access one of three computers on my local network via File Explorer
I can access the other two and I can access a network local external drive.
The error is :
error code 0x80070035 the network path was not found
This expands into:
one or more network protocols are missing on this computer
windows sockets registry entries required for netork connectivity are missing
The post from SimBy in Network Protocols says to disable netbios over TCP/IP.
