Windows 10: Is the 'Controlled Folder' feature still available?

It seems to have vanished from Win10 Security options. It seemed a good way of combating ransomware and similar, but I know it could be obtrusive. Is there now a different facility for that?

Controlled Folder Access is off. Shouldn't this be on?

Fixed fan controls yes. Annoying profiles yes. Buggy code yes.

I'd rather just set it and forget it as the feature list of RBE suggested it was capable of doing.

You can put the files you want to share in the Shared Documents folder. Files stored in the Shared Documents folder or its subfolders are always available to other users on your computer.
