    Error when installing Win7

when Installing Windows 7 I get an error saying ""A required CD/DVD drive device driver is missing. If you have a floppy disk, CD, DVD, or USB flash drive, please insert it now. Note: If the windows installation media is in the CD/DVD drive, you can safely remove it for this step." What should I do to get Windows to install?

  3. Can't start computer after recent Windows 10 Update

    Hi Keith,

If you are trying to install an update and you are experiencing installation failure, it can be due to outdated device drivers, software conflicts, and custom configurations.

I suggest that you use the Windows Recovery Environment (WinRe) to perform a system restore. Restore points are generated when you install a new app, driver, or Windows update, and when you create a restore point manually. Restoring won’t
affect your personal files, but it will remove apps, drivers, and updates installed after the restore point was made.

    You may follow these steps:

    • If you don’t have installation media, use the power button to restart your computer three times. This will start the Windows Recovery Environment.
    • In the Windows Recovery Environment, on the Choose an option screen, click
      Troubleshoot.
    • Click Advanced options.
    • Choose System Restore to restore your PC to an earlier point in time

Let us know how it turns out.
