Windows 10: Is there a fix for kb5034441

Greedins,I'm part of a team managing about 500 Windows workstations and servers. A few of our workstations have been failing this particular update at reboot. Some of the workstations that are failing this update do not have the recovery environment enabled. I saw a bunch of threads regarding kb5034441. Is there a fix for this vulnerability?

Many users have reported experiencing the same issue with the KB5034441 security update. Microsoft is aware of the problem and is actively working on fixing it. Devices attempting to install the January 2024 Windows Recovery Environment update ( KB5034441) might display an error related to the size of the Recovery Environment's partition.

Next steps: They are working on a resolution and will provide an update in an upcoming release.

Microsoft mentioned, "Automatic resolution of this issue won't be available in a future Windows update. Manual steps are necessary to complete the installation of this update on devices which are experiencing this error." With this information, I can only suggest following the manual approach that Microsoft recommends under the Resolution section in the January 2024 update. If you aren't comfortable performing these manual steps, you could ask someone who is, or take your PC to a nearby repair shop. Make sure to back up any important files before making any changes to your system.
