Is there a permanent fix to the no audio bug in Win 10 1809?

I've uninstalled and reinstalled every driver constantly, tried the high definition default driver, manufacturer driver, and all that happens is that it works until I shut down and reboot the system. Then i have to repeat the process. I've had the most up to date drivers microsoft has and still no help.

The default through speakers is IDT High Definition Audio CODEC, no realtek or intel audio drivers. This is a Win 10 Home 64 bit.

It is a clean installation as well, seeing as how an update bricked the system about a month and a half ago and I had to completely reinstall windows, all programs, files, etc. Microsoft support only tends to give the generic "uninstall and reinstall" type solutions.

    :)
