Is there a way to automatically run scf/dism before windows boots? Things seem to run faster outside windows so I was wondering if there was a fast and simple way to do it, I am either rushing for forgetting and don't run them when I have a hard crash I reboot like once or twice a week so it taking 5-15min to boot into windows is not a big issue.

a side question how can I tell if win10 is being damaged by wrongly clocked hardware? I heard something about any kind of overclock can potentially lead to corrupting data in odd ways. I mainly OC my 4790k to 4.3/all core or so I don't OC ramm.

  2. Running DISM

Thanks for the feedback. For us to diagnose further this issue, we'd like to know the following:

    • Which DISM command did you perform?
    • How long was it stuck in 97.6%?

In the meantime, let's start your computer using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This will help us eliminate software conflicts which usually happen when you install or perform updates on your computer. For the instructions, please check out

How to perform a clean boot in Windows
    .

You may try running DISM again when you're done doing the clean boot.

Please keep us updated with the result.

    Regards.
