Windows 10: Is there a way to block a program to access time and date in windows 10?

The application gives me 3 tasks per day on a free version. I can bypass that by manually changing time. I know I can block a program's internet access with firewall outbound rule. How can I disable it's access to read date and time? Idk if this is the right sub to ask this question. If not, where should I ask?

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK

Date and Time

I suggest you to change the Date and Time format from Control Panel and check. Also select the time zone as UTC-5.00 Eastern Time.


After changing the setting, I suggest you to set “Windows Time” service as automatic. Follow the steps provided below.

• Press Windows logo Key + R key.
• Type services.msc
• Right click on Windows Time service.
• Select Properties.
• Under startup type drop down, change it to Automatic.
• Click on Apply button and OK button.

Restart your computer and check.
