  1. Is there a way to keep certain lightweight applications always in RAM?

I have a bunch of very light text files and spreadsheets that I access often via Notepad++ and Libreoffice. Most of the time it's quick to Alt-Tab to them. However sometimes it takes a few seconds until the app shows and can be interacted with.

I'm assuming this is when the apps had been taken away from RAM, pushed away to make room to some more recent memory-hogging app, like Chrome (please correct me if I'm wrong).

I'd like these two apps to always be immediately accessible. Is it possible to let Windows know to prioritize them?

Does this make sense? Is this something that can be done? If so, how?

    Thanks!

PS: I have 8G RAM. As en example, my Chrome currently takes 2G+ of memory. N++ and Libreoffice together take only 30MB.

That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.

    Lightweight charger

    Hi,

Is the ACP 12X the right lightweight charger for a 3310? I have the normal (but heavy) ACP 7X and want a lighter one for backpacking trips etc.. The thing is the 3310 isn't listed on the packaging.

    Cheers,

    Rich
